My mom has a rare type of cancer, amyloidosis. She has lived with it almost 7 years. Very blessed. In March 2021 she had to be hospitalized at Duke for 21 days. We almost lost her in those first days. She was proud of herself for having chosen to get the COVID-19 vaccine and were able to feel more confident with that protection. We never dreamt we would be able to locate her new home. Stressful time. TerraBella, we cannot say enough good about it! The team, the beautiful one level community, the location…AWESOME. TerraBella has been more than supportive with her needs and mental and physical status. They do not know how thankful we are for them. The directors, med techs, and many more are number one! We are so blessed and thankful she was able to find her new home at TerraBella and continue to feel comfortable and safe.
