Senior Lifestyle Counselor
Tanaka joins TerraBella Sugarloaf with over 10 years experience in senior living. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Public Health from Mercer University. Tanaka is passionate about educating and advocating for seniors living with dementia and has spent years volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, cooking and hiking.

Director of Health & Wellness
Donna Toro is the Health and Wellness Director of TerraBella Sugarloaf. Donna has 30 years in Nursing experience including 10 years Geriatric experience. Prior to working for TerraBella Sugarloaf, Donna experienced travel as a Corporate Resident Care Director before settling home in Georgia.
Donna has five children, and eleven grandchildren with her spouse. She currently lives in Auburn, Georgia. Donna relocated from Cary, NC. Her home state is Baltimore, MD where she worked for John’s Hopkins Hospital Emergency Department for several years.
Donna enjoys being a nurse and spending time with family, mixed genre of music and reading.
Business Office Manager
Sharon Dodgen serves as the Business Office Manager at TerraBella Sugarloaf. Sharon brings over 27 years of senior living experience to TerraBella and joined Discovery Senior Living in March of 2017. After relocating to Flowery Brach, GA in October of 2019, she joined our Sugarloaf community. Sharon has a 23-year-old son in college in Orlando, FL and in her free time, she enjoys spending time with her sister, niece, and two dogs and cat.
Culinary Director
Henry Mercado serves TerraBella Sugarloaf as Culinary Director. A native of Puerto Rico, he began his career in senior living and has remained in the industry for over 13 years. He began his career as a server before working his way up to Director of Culinary. Henry feels honored to cook for TerraBella’s residents and loves working with each and every one of them.
Maintenance Director
Justice Maclean was born and raised in Ghana and moved to the United States in 2002. Prior to that, he lived in Europe and in the Middle East for 14 years. He has worked in senior living for 14 years, working in facility maintenance. He loves working in senior living because he has a passion to serve seniors.
