Jackie Sibley Newton

Executive Director

Originally from Bluefield/Princeton, West Virginia, Jackie relocated to North Carolina 20 years ago. She is a proud graduate of Gardner-Webb University. Upon graduating, she began her career in tourism serving as Tourism Director for Cleveland County for 14 years prior to transitioning to Assisted Living. Her hospitality background inspired her heart for customer service and her goal is to enhance the culture and quality of life of each resident at TerraBella Shelby.

In her free time, Jackie enjoys spending time with her family including her husband, Kevin, who runs Dale Advertising, a family-owned screen-printing business. She has 2 children, 8 cats, 2 dogs and a rabbit.

Samantha Thomas

Business Office Manager

Samantha graduated high school nearly 13 years ago as a CNA. She has since moved up the chain and has served on the TerraBella Shelby leadership team as Business Office Manager for 2 years. Samantha is very driven, loyal, and compassionate. Her 5 children are her absolute world. Samantha enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, vacationing to the mountains and the beach. She also has four fur babies who are all spoiled rotten. Samantha also cares for her grandmother who lives with dementia and is passionate about senior care

Jeanett Spangler

Memory Care Coordinator

Jeanett Spangler, has been living her true passion working with seniors for more than 30 years. Jeanett has been a team member at TerraBella Shelby since 2003 and loves every minute. She has lived most of her life here in Shelby. Her husband and family are her world with four children and seven grandchildren that keep Jeanett busy. In her free time, she loves to paint and spend time with her dog Lily.

Sarah Bridges

Memory Care Coordinator

Sarah Bridges, has more than 11 years of experience in the healthcare field as a resident care provider and in a leadership support role here at TerraBella Shelby. Sarah is extremely compassionate and has a real passion for the care of seniors. When not working, you will find her spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. The whole family enjoys camping, fishing, gardening, and going to the beach. Sarah has a passion for baking and decorating cakes which she often does for residents, family, and friends!
