Dee Medlin

Executive Director

Dee was born and raised in Mooresville, NC and graduated from Mooresville High School where she was a part of the state volleyball championship team. Dee’s passion for senior living began in high school when she started her career right here at TerraBella Lake Norman as a concierge. Within the first year, she was promoted into the Business Office Director’s role before recently becoming the Executive Director. Dee’s passion drove her to study business at Appalachian State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a primary focus in Management.

In an effort to consistently provide the management principles, strategic thinking, and vital leadership skills required of a healthcare administrator, Dee will be continuing her education at Appalachian State this year to obtain a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. Her enthusiasm to support our seniors and provide guidance to her TerraBella team resonates throughout our community. With more than 14 years of experience in senior living, she will be happy to answer any questions that you may have!

Stuart Madow

Senior Lifestyle Counselor

Stuart has been a resident of Mooresville for over 25 years. He has been helping seniors and their families connect to the solutions they need for fourteen years in the senior care industry. Stuart has been a dementia care educator as part of the Alzheimer’s Association speaker’s bureau, having also experienced dementia related care-giving as an adult child who helped his mom navigate the healthcare landscape. He is a sports fanatic and has traveled around the country attending various professional and college sporting events with his son Bernie.

Katie began her career right here at TerraBella Lake Norman over a decade ago while she was still in college. Over the years, she has gained experience in various aspects of senior living including assisting the business office and for the bulk of her career helping seniors and their families navigate the variety of options for the right senior living solution. Katie and her husband enjoy traveling and spending every precious moment with their young daughter, Claire.

Jari Sobecki

Celebrations Director

Ever since she was young, Jari has had a passion for enriching the lives of seniors. As a young student, she and her classmates visited senior living communities providing entertainment performances for the residents. She has a long history of event and entertainment planning working in the senior care industry. Jari lives in Mooresville and moved here from Florida to be near her family. When not spoiling the TerraBella residents with her fun wit, charm, and infectious smile, Jari likes to make lasting memories in her free time with her daughter, Jaclyn, and her two grandchildren, Daxton and Lynnon.

TANYA REDMON

Tanya Redmon

Memory Care Director

Tanya has more than twenty years of experience in the healthcare field as a resident care provider and in a leadership support role. Becoming the Memory Care Director, or as she likes to call it – the Reminiscence Coordinator – is something in which she takes great pride. Tanya believes a vital part of her job is utilizing the SHINE® program for the residents she serves, and as a support partner for the resident’s family. Tanya enjoys helping, whether it is a family member, resident, healthcare partner organization, or fellow team member. When not at work, you will likely find Tanya spending most of her time with her family.

MARGARET GOODEN

Margaret Gooden

Business Office Manager

Margaret began her career in healthcare at TerraBella Lake Norman as the front desk concierge. Soon after, she began providing assistance to the business office in a variety of HR support activities. In 2021, she was promoted to the role of Business Office Director. Margaret has a Master’s degree in History from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She loves classic rock music and enjoys traveling as much as possible to Disney World. She is affectionately known around TerraBella as “The Queen of Disney World.” Margaret loves working at TerraBella Lake Norman and thinks of her co-workers as her second family.

FRANK CAMPBELL

Frank Campbell

Director of Facility Operations

With more than ten years working in senior living facility operations, and another twenty years in the construction business, Frank has had a wealth of experience in maintaining an upscale apartment-style senior living complex. Originally from New York, Frank has been in the Lake Norman area for fifteen years. He and his five children enjoy spending their free time together boating and camping.

MARK RODGERS-ALSTON

Mark Rodgers-Alston

Director of Culinary Services

After attending culinary college in the Philadelphia area, Mark worked in fine dining with an additional focus on hotel and banquet services. Mark has more than ten years of experience within healthcare and in the short time at TerraBella Lake Norman, he has dazzled the residents with his wide variety of culinary skills. He has also tapped into the wealth of cooking experience of our residents by incorporating some of their “secret” family recipes into his menus. Mark has lived in North Carolina for thirteen years and as a foodie himself, loves to travel the world looking for new culinary inspiration at every turn.
