SAFETY & SECURITY

The safety and security of our residents and team members are our top priority. We are taking all the necessary steps and precautions for our residents and will closely monitor all changes to the storms’ path that may affect our communities. 

In advance of the storm, our team have taken additional steps to ensure the safety of our communities: 

  • Generators have been serviced and fueled to provide power if utilities fail, or have been contracted to be delivered in the event of a power failure 
  • Satellite phones are in our key leaderships’ possession 
  • Emergency supplies including food, water, batteries, and lighting are in place 
  • Maintenance support is on stand-by to assist with any issues if they arise 
  • Staffing has been secured for all shifts to ensure all needs are met 
  • Strategically located evacuation routes are in place 
  • Team and family members have been notified 
  • Our contracted vendors are on standby to: 
  • Transport residents and team members with buses in case of evacuation 
  • Provide remediation, security, and additional generator support as needed

Power has been RESTORED at TerraBella Summerville. Our management will remain in the community overnight so we can continue to monitor weather conditions and ensure our residents remain at ease–our residents and team members are doing well!

TerraBella Summerville has lost power with Hurricane Ian approaching the area. The community currently has two generators available for use and all emergency supplies and team members in place, Our residents comfort and safety will continue to be our top priority and we will continue to provide updates on this page.

TerraBella Hillsborough

Power is still on at TerraBella Hillsborough, but we are experiencing a temporary issue with our phone lines being down in the community. The phone line attached to our fire panel is not experiencing any issues and is still operational! We will provide an update as soon as the phone company is able to restore service.  Our Director of Facilities remains on site and all residents are well!

Update: We still have power in our community and our residents are doing well. We’re preparing boxed dinners for our residents and we will continue to have leadership on site. We hope everyone is staying safe and dry!

TerraBella Myrtle Beach is not experiencing any issues with power or water intrusion. Our residents are well and enjoyed pizza for lunch served by the TerraBella Myrtle Beach team!

TerraBella Northridge

We are experiencing intermittent power issues at TerraBella Northridge; however, we have backup generators and leadership on site. Our team’s top priority continues to be the safety and satisfaction of our residents. We will continue to provide updates as available.

We have lost power in our B hall but have power throughout the rest of the building. We have a generator on site and our leadership team will remain in the community monitoring the conditions and comfort of our residents. We will keep you updated!
