With full corporate support from Discovery Senior Living, TerraBella has assembled a cohesive and highly experienced executive leadership team with nearly 100 years of collective experience in the senior housing industry. Each brings poise, passion and intensity, and together, they will nurture and uphold a culture of innovation, accountability and performance.

Our flat senior management structure is specially designed to prioritize connectivity with the communities and is a foundational aspect of TerraBella and the larger Discovery organization.

Our company and community leaders maintain open-door policies and promote autonomy and the continued pursuit of excellence and innovation. Perhaps most of all, though, they diligently uphold the values that built this company and confidently see us forward in support of our residents and vision for the future.

Dave Adams TerraBella Division President

Dave Adams

Division President

As the first-ever Division President of TerraBella Senior Living, Dave Adams is responsible for driving operational performance and strategic growth of the TerraBella brand. Dave brings to our organization extensive experience in developing and executing corporate strategic growth Initiatives and building high-performing teams. Prior to taking on the Division President role for TerraBella Senior Living, Dave led Discovery Senior Living’s Acquisition & Transition Team, which oversaw the addition and successful integration of more than 50 new communities to Discovery Senior Living’s national and regionally focused brands portfolio.

Prior to joining the Discovery team, Dave was Senior Vice President of Operations Support for CA Ventures’ Senior Living division. In that role, he led in the planning, from-scratch development and ultimate execution of Anthology Senior Living, the company’s Senior Living Property Management company, taking the startup from initial concept to full operations and managing more than $950 million in assets across 11 states within the first two years. Prior to that, Dave served as Vice President of Strategy & Business Development for Enlivant Senior Living, where he successfully led the operational performance turnaround and strategic growth of that company.

Dave also brings to the Discovery enterprise an extensive and unique set of experiences from outside the senior living industry, having spent time successfully growing a software startup company, and serving as a Strategy Consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he specialized In Operations and Organizational Strategy client engagements. He began his professional career by serving more than 9 years as an officer in the US Air Force Special Operations Command, leading multiple Special Tactic Teams (Combat Control/Pararescue) through numerous deployments throughout Southwest Asia, Europe and Northern Africa.

Dave holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy.


Kellee Agee

Executive Vice President

Kellee Agee is a strategic, results-driven, and service-oriented professional with more than 25 years of progressive and visionary leadership in senior living. She has a documented record of accomplishment achieving high standards, compliance, and company financial benchmarks through developing, inspiring, and aligning corporate and regional leadership talent.

Kellee is a highly experienced due diligence team leader and integration expert having supported more than 75 acquisitions. Most recently Kellee spent four years at Navion Senior Solutions where she served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Quality Officer where she led exponential growth that quadrupled the size of the company.

Prior to Navion, Kellee served for twenty years as a Regional Vice President of Operations for Brookdale Senior Living where she managed more than 50 communities including: Senior Apartments, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC).


Julie Thompson

Regional Director of Sales

Julie grew up in South Georgia and is a proud graduate of Georgia Southern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. She has worked in the healthcare industry for the past 20 years in Senior Living, Home Health, Diagnostic Testing, and the largest part of her portfolio in Hospice. Julie brings more than 12 years of sales management experience, where she has led numerous organizations to substantial growth in occupancy and revenue across multiple states in the southern and mid-west regions.

Julie served as the Regional Director of Sales for the Roadrunner Division of Discovery for three years before being promoted to the Divisional Sales Director for the TerraBella Regional Brand overseeing the Sales and Marketing Departments. Julie prides herself in driving results and working alongside Senior Lifestyle Counselors and Executive Directors to make Discovery Senior Living every prospect’s forever home.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, Brad, of 20 years and her daughter, Kinsleigh, and son, Kaden.

Mark has more than 25 years of leadership experience in senior living and has served in a variety of Regional and National roles in communities across the country including Regional Director of Operations and Executive Director at a 350-unit Life Plan Community in Winston-Salem, NC.

Although a native from Syracuse, NY, he and his wife, Gina, have lived outside of Charlotte, NC for the past 25 years. In Mark’s spare time, he enjoys traveling, riding motorcycles, watching football, and cooking. Go Orangemen!

Brian Griffith

Divisional Sales Manager

Brian has more than a decade of sales and organizational leadership experience with large senior living and hospice providers while serving in several capacities and roles throughout his career. He is most proud of developing high performing teams that grow occupancy within challenging environments. Brian believes that leading seniors and their families to transition to this stage of life is some of the most fulfilling work one could do. Brian earned several industry and sales achievement awards and has a passion for coaching, mentoring, and serving others. Residing in Charlotte, NC, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and volunteering, and, being an Eagle Scout, he continues his free time being outside, camping, and hiking. Brian supports fundraising efforts and serves on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations.
